The Parts are Identical, the Difference at Engineered Plastics is...
• Our Focus and Experience
We love a challenge. Our extensive experience enables us to mold parts that require close tolerance multi-directional core pulls or unscrewing cores without post-mold machining. We use custom heat staking process developed in-house to ensure more accurate placement of threaded brass inserts that exceed pullout force requirements.
Our difference is our people. Engineered Plastics has been a woman owned manufacturer since 1987. Our leadership team represents every area of the company, helping us to strategically plan for the future and truly live our values. Because our employees are valued and have input into the current success and future of the company, we have very low turnover. This reduces training, which increases efficiency.

• Our Facilities and How We Use Them
We know the key to producing identical parts is monitoring and controlling a proven, reliable process. Our "Visual Factory" approach improves communication, part quality, and response times. Our training program ensures all employees are well-trained. They work together to solve problems, improve productivity, increase production, and reduce operating costs.
It's hard to tell our parts apart. It's easy to see why. Our 28,000 sq. ft. facility operates 24 hours a day. But to see the heart of what makes our facility different, you have to look up. A central material handling system reduces changeover time, and our three 45-foot, two-color display boards display real-time process data from our MATTEC process monitoring system. These boards color code the status of 13 critical parameters of the molding process for everyone to see.

• Complex Challenges and Innovative Thinking
If you think something can't be done or can't be done better - think again. Our engineering staff provides up-front design review and assistance, reviews material selections, and plans a quality strategy. When you receive a quote from Engineered Plastics, you will know your part can be manufactured efficiently and correctly. We provide you with options and continually work to make your parts better.
At Engineered Plastics, we believe in making parts right the first time, every time. We are ISO 9001-2000 Certified and use AIAG's PPAP process to be sure our processes are consistent and will produce parts to your specifications.
